Usui Reiki Level I & II Certification in Salt Lake City
November 6–8, 2026 | In Person in Salt Lake City, Utah
You don’t need to have Reiki figured out before you begin.
You don’t need years of experience with energy work. You don’t need to know whether Reiki will become part of your profession, your personal practice, or simply another way you learn to care for yourself and the people around you.
You just need to be curious enough to begin.
This November, I’m offering an intimate, in-person Usui Reiki Level I & II Certification Training in Salt Lake City, Utah, alongside my co-instructor, Eileen Naughton.
Over three days, we’ll explore the foundations and practice of Reiki through teaching, attunements, hands-on experience, self-practice, and working with others.
And because I want this to feel like a real learning experience rather than a room full of people trying to see what’s happening from the back row, the training is limited to just 10 participants, with two people per practice table.

Why I’m Finally Teaching Reiki
There’s a moment when something in you starts asking different questions.
Not just:
What should I do next?
But:
What is actually happening inside me?
How does energy move?
How do I care for myself more honestly?
How do I show up for the people I love in a way that doesn’t leave me empty?
Those questions led me to Reiki years ago.
Over time, Reiki became part of both my personal and professional journey. It gave me another way to slow down, pay attention, and become more aware of what was happening within me and around me.
Eventually, another question began to surface:
What would it look like to teach this?
That is what led to this training.
I wanted to create something small and intentional, with enough time and space for people to actually practice what they are learning.
Not simply to take notes about Reiki.
To experience it.
What Is Usui Reiki Level I & II Training?
Usui Reiki is a system of Reiki practice that includes principles, techniques, hands-on practice, self-treatment, working with others, and attunements given as part of Reiki training.
In this weekend certification program, we will move through both Reiki Level I and Reiki Level II.
You’ll learn about the foundations of Reiki, begin developing your own personal practice, and gain hands-on experience sharing Reiki with others.
The training is designed for people who are completely new to Reiki as well as those who already have some experience with energy or wellness practices and want more formal training.
What You’ll Learn During the Weekend
Your Reiki Level I & II training includes:
✨ Reiki Level I & II Attunements
✨ Hands-on Reiki practice
✨ Reiki history and principles
✨ Self-treatment techniques
✨ Working with others
✨ A comprehensive training manual
✨ Ongoing community support
The goal is not for you to leave knowing every possible thing about Reiki.
The goal is for you to leave with a strong foundation, practical experience, your Level I and II attunements, and greater confidence in beginning your own Reiki practice.
Who Is This Reiki Certification For?
You do not need previous Reiki experience to join us.
This training may be a good fit if you want to:
Explore Reiki for your own self-care
Maybe Reiki is something you’ve experienced before, or something you’ve simply felt curious about.
Level I gives you the opportunity to begin developing a personal Reiki practice and explore what it feels like to intentionally slow down, listen, and work with Reiki for yourself.
Share Reiki with family and friends
Some people are drawn to Reiki because they want another way to offer care and presence to the people they love.
You’ll have opportunities throughout the weekend to practice with others so that you’re not leaving with information alone.
Add Reiki to the work you already do
You may already work in yoga, massage, bodywork, coaching, wellness, caregiving, or another people-centered field.
Reiki training can give you another practice to explore and, where appropriate to your professional scope, thoughtfully incorporate into the work you already do.
Or you may simply feel that Reiki is the next thing you’re meant to learn.
You don’t have to know where it will lead before you start.
Why the Class Is Limited to 10 People
This is one of the most important parts of the training for me.
There will be no more than 10 participants, with two people at each practice table.
Reiki is experiential.
You can read about hand placements, principles, attunements, and techniques, but at some point you need time to practice, notice what you experience, ask questions, and try again.
A smaller class gives us room for that.
It means more individual attention, more opportunity for hands-on practice, and more space to learn without feeling rushed or lost in a large group.
You’ll be learning alongside other people, but you’ll still be able to move through the weekend at a human pace.

Meet Your Reiki Teachers
This training is led by Amy Conn and Eileen Naughton.
We believe Reiki is best learned through a combination of understanding, curiosity, personal experience, and practice.
I’ll be sharing the Reiki approach that has become part of my own personal and professional journey, while creating space throughout the weekend for questions, hands-on learning, and individual exploration.
Eileen brings her experience as a certified Animal Reiki practitioner and will guide the optional Introduction to Animal Reiki.
Together, our intention is to create a warm, supportive training environment where you can learn without feeling as though you’re supposed to arrive already knowing the answers.
What Will I Be Able to Do After Reiki Level I & II?
By the end of the weekend, you will have received your Reiki Level I and Level II attunements and completed guided training and hands-on practice.
You’ll leave with techniques you can continue using for self-treatment and experience working with others, along with your training manual and access to ongoing community support.
More importantly, you’ll have a foundation you can continue practicing and developing after our weekend together.
Reiki is a practice.
The certification weekend is a beginning, not an ending.
