A Season of Harvest, Abundance & Healing

There has always been something special about October for me. In fact, I’ve always considered it one of the best months of the year.

Perhaps it’s because October is the month my husband and I were married. Perhaps it’s because the Earth finally begins to cool down after the heat of summer. Or maybe it’s because I’ve spent most of my life following a school calendar—first as a student and then as a teacher—so October has always felt like a natural time of new beginnings, reflection, and settling into a new season.

And then there is the beauty of October.

The harvest moon, the abundance in my garden, the changing leaves, and all of the colors that suddenly seem to appear everywhere remind me just how beautiful this season can be. There are plants and flowers that seem to reveal themselves only at this particular time of year. The world feels as though it is offering us one last spectacular display before winter arrives.

The Season of Harvest

But with the harvesting of crops and the abundance of beauty surrounding us, I also feel a deeper spiritual connection to this time of year.

Harvest is not only about gathering what has grown in the garden. It can also be a time to pause and notice what has grown within us.

What have you cultivated this year?

What are you ready to gather, celebrate, release, or share?

I believe there can be a beautiful synchronicity when we allow ourselves to recognize the abundance that is already around us—and when we become open to receiving what we need next.

Reiki Teacher Training

I currently have four positions remaining in our Reiki Teacher Training, and I believe there is a reason these opportunities seem to come together when people are ready for them.

My co-teacher, Eileen Naughton, and I intentionally decided to offer this training at 50% off.

We know that groceries are expensive. Gasoline is expensive. And, politically, these can feel like uncertain times. We wanted to create an opportunity for people to participate in this healing program without adding financial stress to their lives.

So this is our offering.

An invitation to learn, to heal, to grow, and to share Reiki with others.

If you have been feeling called toward this training, perhaps October is the time to listen to that calling.

Only four spaces remain.

Embrace Your Inner Child

In the meantime, I invite you to enjoy this beautiful season.

Notice the leaves as they change.

Enjoy the decorations beginning to appear throughout your neighborhood.

Smile at the pumpkins, the costumes, and the little touches of Halloween magic.

And perhaps, for a moment, return to that childlike spirit that still lives within you—the part of you that can be delighted by changing leaves, a harvest moon, a carved pumpkin, or the simple beauty of the world around you.

Let that sense of wonder bring peace and harmony into your body, mind, and spirit.

October reminds us that change can be beautiful, that abundance can be shared, and that every season has something to teach us.

I hope you take a little time this month to slow down, breathe deeply, enjoy the beauty around you, and listen to what your spirit is asking of you.

May your October be filled with abundance, healing, peace, and a little bit of magic.

I hope to see you soon.

With love and Reiki blessings,
Amy
