In San Luis Obispo County, the place where my mom lives, resides such tiny towns: San Luis Obispo, Pismo Beach and Morro Bay. They beckon travelers with their rich history, outdoor adventures and coastal serenity.
San Luis Obispo is one of my most favorite spots. People from much larger cities settle here to retire, to relax, to LIVE! There is a laid-back ambiance that is complemented by its lively downtown filled with outdoor music festivals and weekly farmers markets. There are historic missions, eclectic boutiques and farm-to-table eateries, and we haven’t even mentioned the wineries yet!

Celebrating our long-time friends for a 60th birthday. Before we hit the road for a winery experience, the tender mornings are observed with precious time observing nature’s beauty.(and the abundance of pomegranates growing on the property)

Morro Bay’s iconic rock and its bay, where families of otters live, have seared a memory into the brains of my children: “Otter Water.” You see, when they were about five and seven years old, they took a tour with a park ranger who helped explain why wasting water hurts the otters.
So ... “be cautious how much water you use! You don’t want to hurt the otter water!”

The scenery is always beautiful - even during the daily morning overcast because you know what? Sometimes the sun comes out and shines without any formal announcements at all!

There is always time to celebrate and be a little goofy. We work very hard to make this happen. Sometimes it just comes naturally …
And sometimes we need to make it happen.
But always, it brings a smile to our face.
