TV, Podcasts ... Special Dates to Remember

Michael and I will be guests with interviewer Mary Nickles on October 8 at 7:30 am.

Did you know that Mary is a Breast Cancer survivor?

I keep saying that I haven’t written in “a while.” A while ended up being more than a year! I finished chemo in May 2012, radiation the following July, and my body and mind have been gradually healing ever since. I’m not sure if I’m 100% yet, but I really feel like my brain and personality are as close to human as I’ve been in a long time.
— Mary Nickles

And yet, Mary continues on …

It’s a part of a story that resides in many survivors (regardless of the cancer).

I often refer to it as, “The New You!”

Michael and I will each be guests highlighting two important October dates:

October 15 & October 18

Michael is the Utah Director of FCSN

Utah Firefighter Cancer Initiative

This is an Initiative that he’s been a team member of, working diligently with people who believed in the same purpose, AND, it’s one of the positive things that has occurred in 2025. It’s time to celebrate!

On October 15

Grand Opening of Health & Wellness Center

Then …

On October 18

1:00-6:00pm

At Survivor Wellness House

You may have heard me mention this event from time to time (snickering).

But seriously, I’ve got Cucina’s catering, hourly door prizes, music playing, TWO homes hosted by Survivor Wellness that you GOTTA SEE … including donation opportunities for you to financially support a Cancer Survivor with Reiki treatments and book donations. Plus, each book sold donates a portion of proceeds to Survivor Wellness!

DID YOU ALSO KNOW ….

yoga and cancer

Michael and I had the FORTUNATE opportunity to spend two hours with Billy Lewis of the Church of Fabulosity!

What a fabulous evening!

What is the Church of Fabulosity?

Its Mission: “We believe in the celebration of our unique human experience. We believe that our divine purpose is to celebrate life, spread happiness, uplift others, do good, and drive equality and equity for all humans. We have formed the Church of Fabulosity to provide the ability for those that want to celebrate the divine fabulousness of life through ministerial acts of worship, marriages, blessing or how they choose to spread love and fabulosity! We believe that everyone has the ability to share the divine fabulousness of life so we invite and embrace everyone no matter their faith or spiritual beliefs … We are a non-denominational church. We provide free minister ordinations to all that come to us and strive to live by these beliefs and vow to spread fabulousness, love, and kindness.”

But WAIT…

DID YOU ALSO KNOW…
