A "re" union of the HEART
Mark and Gabe on the second day together as a family.
The Reunion of Hearts
31 years ago, these two drove to Southern California and participated in our wedding.
… and now, it’s our turn to return the favor.

but to love more."

Gabriel and Erika Rose
“Happy Valentine’s Day to the love of my life! Today marks 7 years together
I can’t wait to share more milestones with you and build some incredible memories together!”
—Gabriel Brand
Last week I wrote about how time can be fleeting. Well, it’s moments like these that really makes it true.
31 years ago, I remember Mark, Gabriel’s dad, forgot all the dress clothes for himself, but remembered all the things for his son! He was very excited when he purchased a cute little suit, a tie, nice shoes for Gabe but was remiss when it came time to dress himself for the ceremony. I think some last-minute shopping must’ve taken place!
As parents, we have all done similar things. I know. Our brains are so wrapped up in caring for the child, that we often forget to care for ourselves. In the end, it typically falls together, but there are moments when we just get all kerfuffled.
“Love recognizes no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at its
destination full of hope.”
—Maya Angelou
Full of love and adventure, Michael and I will drive west to the bay area to reunite with the little boy who sat upon his daddy’s shoulders. He has loved his girlfriend and soon to be wife Erika Rose for seven years and the time has come for their union to take the next turn. Marriage.
We are thrilled to be a part of the ceremony!
Gabriel Brand - Adoption Day❤️❤️
This is the day Mark’s heart (and everyone elses) cracked open and grew a little bit larger❤️
In this time of weddings, graduations and celebrations, where is love and your heart taking you?
